1. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that can't be excluded. Our Returns, Refunds & Warranty page explains how to make a claim.
2. Prices and orders
• Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST, unless shown otherwise.
• Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm your order or dispatch the goods.
• We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable or a price or description was clearly wrong. If that happens, we'll tell you promptly and refund anything you've paid in full.
• If the price changes after you order, we'll contact you before dispatch, and you can cancel for a full refund.
• We may limit quantities on some products.
3. Payment
Payment must be received before goods are dispatched. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout and on our Payments page. Card payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we don't store your full card details.
4. Delivery
We deliver throughout Australia, and to New Zealand and selected international destinations by quote. Delivery times, costs and requirements are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we've received full payment, and responsibility for the goods passes to you on delivery.
5. Returns, refunds and warranty
Returns are handled under our Returns, Refunds & Warranty page, which forms part of these terms. We don't offer change-of-mind returns. Clearance, ex-demo and second-hand items are described as such, with any known faults listed, and your consumer guarantee rights still apply to them.
6. Product information
We work hard to keep product details, specifications and photos accurate. Photos may show optional accessories or differ slightly from the actual product. If you're unsure whether a product suits your needs, please ask us before ordering.
7. Your account
Please keep your login details secure, and let us know straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for orders placed through your account, unless the unauthorised use wasn't your fault. We may suspend or close an account if it's being used fraudulently or in breach of these terms. Where practical, we'll tell you first.
8. Using our website
The content on this site, including text, images, logos and product descriptions, belongs to Telecom Depot or its suppliers. You may view and print it for your own use when shopping with us, but you may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written permission. You must not misuse the site, including by uploading harmful code or unlawful material, or interfering with its operation.
9. Privacy
We handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to section 1:
• we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, data or business opportunity, except where the Australian Consumer Law says otherwise; and
• we're not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked from our site.
Nothing in this section limits your rights to a refund, replacement, repair or compensation under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after the updated terms are published on this page, not to orders already placed.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. This doesn't take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of your own state or territory.
